Kapurbawdi is where Ghodbunder Road begins, right off the Eastern Express Highway. From here, you can head south into Mumbai, north along Ghodbunder Road or east into Thane city. Few spots in Thane give you this many directions from one point.

The junction will also host an interchange for Metro Line 4 and Metro Line 5. Line 4 will run towards Wadala, and Line 5 towards Bhiwandi and Kalyan. Both target their first stretches by the end of 2026.

From Thane Railway Station

Take an auto, cab or TMT bus towards Majiwada and Kapurbawdi along the Eastern Express Highway. The trip usually takes 15 to 25 minutes outside peak hours.

From Mumbai

Drive north on the Eastern Express Highway past Mulund and Teen Hath Naka. Take the Ghodbunder Road turn at Kapurbawdi, and Wonder Mall will appear on your side of the road.

From Navi Mumbai

Cross the Airoli bridge into Mulund or Thane, then head north on the Eastern Express Highway. Follow signs for Ghodbunder Road and exit at Kapurbawdi Junction.

From the Western Suburbs

Today, most drivers take Ghodbunder Road from the Western Express Highway at Ghodbunder village. Once the Thane-Borivali Twin Tunnel opens around 2028 to 2029, the Borivali trip should take about 15 minutes.

By Metro (Once Open)

When Metro Line 4 and Line 5 start running, Kapurbawdi station will be the closest stop. You will be able to walk or take a short ride from the station to the site.

The site sits where several well-known parts of Thane West meet. Majiwada lies just to the south, with Viviana Mall, Lodha Boulevard and quick access to the highway. Manpada and Hiranandani Estate lie to the north along Ghodbunder Road, with large townships and offices.

To the west, Vasant Vihar and the Pokhran roads lead towards Upvan Lake and the Yeoor Hills. To the east, Kolshet and Balkum sit along the creek, with newer towers and the coming coastal road. Each of these areas is only a short drive from the site.

Daily life from this address is easy, since most needs sit within a few kilometres. Autos and app cabs wait near Wonder Mall and the junction through the day. TMT buses on Ghodbunder Road link the area with Thane station and the northern townships.

Once the metro opens, many residents may not need a car for daily office trips. For weekend drives, the highway takes you quickly towards Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

The Majiwada and Kapurbawdi area has good schools and hospitals within a short drive. Square Yards lists CP Goenka International School, DAV Public School and Lodha World School as popular picks. For healthcare, Jupiter Hospital sits on the Eastern Express Highway, close to the junction.

Hiranandani Foundation School and Hiranandani Hospital lie a little further up Ghodbunder Road. Families can usually reach most of these within 10 to 20 minutes outside rush hours.

A junction address brings clear benefits, but it also has a few trade-offs worth weighing.

Large townships help balance these trade-offs in a few simple ways. Towers set back from the main road, with green space in between, stay much quieter than roadside buildings. Ask the sales team which towers face the inner gardens if noise matters to you.

• Plan your visit on a weekday morning, when traffic around Kapurbawdi is lighter.
• Use Wonder Mall as your meeting point if you are coming by cab or auto.
• Ask the sales team where to park before you arrive, since the junction gets busy.
